Birding is our passion! The joy of watching these wonderful, colorful and magical creatures go about their day (and night) cannot be measured. Mixing the joy of observing a huge variety of different birds, both in our travels and in our own back yard, with our other hobby, photography, has provided the opportunity to share images of the birds that we have encountered. Many of the birds were very cooperative and posed nicely for our camera. Others took much patience and many, many shots to get the right picture. Some are not the best shots but are included here as a record of our avian encounters and will be replaces with better images as the opportunities arise.

Some of the images link to a page with more details and images for your enjoyment.
